Ask Me Anything!

I'd be lying if I was a little pretentious about posting this but I figured I would give it a shot after seeing Ashley Sisk from Ramblings & Photos post this morning. I am doing a Q & A, so ask me anything and I will answer! Now I will still have control over which questions to answer, but if they are reasonable and not weird I will answer them to the fullest! Now please, ask away and I will post the answers sometime this week! I was thinking 25 followers would definitely be enough for a Q & A, so I hope I'm right! Ask away!

When did you first pick up a camera? What do you want to be when you grow up?

Do you use Actions or Presets? Which ones are your favorite?

I just found your blog from pastor's girl ... and I <3 it! I especially like the photo of your mother that you posted the other day!

I have a couple of questions:

What kind of camera do you use?

What are some of the best photography tips you've received?

What editing program do you use?

What is your dream camera (if you don't already have it)?

If you could go and take pictures anywhere in the world - where would you go?

That's it for me! Sorry if you've answered these questions elsewhere! My name is Amanda - folks call me Mandy ... and it's nice to meet you!

Thank you for stopping by my blog! I love finding other WA photogs, also!

I will play along and ask some questions!

1. How long have you lived in WA?
2. What is your favorite thing to take photos of?
3. What inspires you the most?

hi mackenzie,

i looked through some of your posts and you definitely have an artistic eye. you look at the world differently than most people and i hope you find courage/inspiration to always take photos!

i am always curious about where people want to take their photography passion so my question is this:

what do you see yourself doing with photography?

i started taking photos for family and friends, then ventured into wedding photography, and now have returned to just taking pictures for loved ones. i realized that was where my heart was and am more in love with photography than ever.

Hey Mackenzie! Thanks for stopping by my blog with your good wishes and prayers!

Your photos are gorgeous! I, too love photography, so we certainly have that connection.

Question: When shooting people/portraits do you have a favorite shot? How do you encourage your subjects to act naturally so that the shots look more candid rather than posed?
Looking forward to your answers?

Can I still ask one even though I am late to the party? : )

What is one thing that makes you love a person's photography? What do you love? Is there something that makes peoples pictures stand out to you? Do you try to emulate that when you are shooting? Who are some artists that inspire you?
